School Rules and Regulations

  • It is mandatory for Parents to sign the Teacher’s remarks, in the Diary/Link Book. Parent’s signature/ acknowledgment of a remark implies that appropriate follow-up/remedial action is being taken. This is essential for the ultimate benefit of the child.
  • Pupils are required to speak in English while at school, both in the class room and on the playground. As the medium of instruction in this school is English, parents are requested to ensure that there is certain amount of regular English conversation at home. This would help the pupils to follow their lessons easily and effectively.
  • No child may leave the school premises during school hours without the written permission of the school authorities.
  • Parents/Guardians of the pupils are liable to pay for or replace any damage to the school property without any delay/dispute.
  • Parents/Guardians are not allowed to visit the teachers in classrooms. Prior appointments should be made through the Diary/Link Book or permission sought from the office.
  • Any violence in or outside the school shall result in the expulsion of the pupil concerned.
  • A pupil is liable to be expelled from the school on the following grounds :(a) Names of students, who are absent without sanctioned leave for six consecutive days will be struck off the school roll. (b) Unsatisfactory progress in academics.(c) Non payment of school fees and other arrears for more than a month after the due date.(d) Unsatisfactory conduct of the pupil, if unanimously agreed upon by the Principal, and the Class Teacher.(e) For causing grievous injury willfully to a student or any member of staff.
  • Parents must pay particular heed to the following :(a) Leave should not be taken for granted. Prior permission of the Principal must be obtained unless emergent reasons dictate otherwise.(b) Extension of vacations will not be permitted except on duly certified ground.
  • Parents/Guardians must make adequate transport arrangement for their child. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that their child reaches the school punctually and is picked up on time. The school cannot be held responsible for the safety of the pupil after school hours.
  • Parents are informed that their wards may be sent home for: (a) Coming late to school; (b) Not wearing the correct uniform; (c) Not having a remark in the school diary signed by their parents. This may cause great inconvenience to all.
  • Parents to note that all external appointments for your ward should be made after school hours. Kindly refrain from scheduling any such appointments during school hours unless there is an emergency.

  • Valuable articles including electronic and mobile devices are not allowed on the school premises and the school cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of such articles.
  • Parents are requested to ensure that the students bring their “tiffins” in the morning. In the interest of security, “tiffins”/lunch boxes brought later will not be accepted.
  • Sick children should not be sent to school. They pose a health hazard to their fellow students.
  • Students must wear school uniform on their Birthdays.
  • In case of a child leaving the school early, only parents are allowed to take the child. No cousin or relative would be allowed to pick them up from school.
  • You are requested to make the payment of school dues in time and fill in all the details legibly in the pay in slips of the Fee Book.
  • Parents must ensure that the school administration is made aware of any change in their personal contact information i.e. Telephone no./Address/Mobile Nos. The School administration should be promptly informed in WRITING.

Absence From School

Authorized/Unauthorized Absence From School

  • Leave will be sanctioned only on the prescribed Leave Application Form.
  • Leave applications must be submitted before proceeding on actual leave. Sanction for half-day, short leave or partial leave, must be obtained in advance.
  • Leave exceeding three days shall require the prior sanction of the Principal.
  • Except on duly certified grounds, no extension of vacation is allowed.
  • Names of students who are absent for six consecutive days, without a written leave application will be struck from the school roll. Re-admission will only be at the discretion of the Principal, subject to a vacancy and on payment of Rs. 5000/-
  • Pupils suffering from any infectious or contagious disease (i.e. Measles, chicken pox, cholera, mumps, whooping cough, eye flu etc.) should not be sent to school. Partial leave of absence shall not be granted.

Fee Regulations

Important Note

It is mandatory to pay the School fee at the stipulated time as mentioned in the Fee Book, to avoid expulsion from the School. Please note that it is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that the cheques are honoured.

  • The school fee is to be paid Quarterly i.e. in April, July, October and January.
  • Please refer to the Fee Structure and Late Fee Schedule mentioned on the First page.
  • A separate cheque for each student to be issued if more than one child is studying in the school.
  • The payment of fee by cheque should be made in favour of St. Peter’s School. Please write the name, class, admission number of the student on the reverse of the cheque. In case of dishonoured cheque for any reason, a fine of Rs. 1000/- will be levied by the school.
  • In case the Fee Book is lost/damaged, a new Fee Book can be obtained from the School Office by making a payment of Rs. 100 along with a written request.
  • The complete Fee Book must be presented at the bank while making the payment of fee and no slips are to be removed.
  • School Fee is required to be deposited in the bank. Under no circumstances will the fee be accepted in the school.
  • The school fees can be paid online as well as via cheque or cash. To pay by cheque or cash, visit any Branch of ICICI Bank along with the Fee Book and SMS received for Fees. To pay online, click on the link which is unique to each student and follow the instructions on your screen.

Late Fee Schedule

Important: If the due date for payment of the fee falls on a bank holiday, the next working day will be the due date. Thereafter a fine will be imposed for the late fee as follows :
From 11th to 20th Rs. 50/-Per Day
From 21st to 30/31st Rs. 100/-Per Day
After One Month 30/31st Rs. 200/-Per Day

Note* :-

  • The bank will charge a fee/late fee as applicable. Under no circumstances would the late fee be waived off.
  • This applies to tuition Fee and Transport charges

School Uniform

Note* :- It is compulsory that the students come to school in proper uniform. Boys must have a short haircut and the girls must plait their hair with a blue ribbon/blue band in case of short hair.
