The importance of sports and games in school encompasses more than just the benefit of physical activity. Sports help in overall physical as well as mental development of the students. Playing sports/games with each other at school nurtures a sense of team spirit, leadership, self-esteem, self-confidence, friendliness among the children.
A boost to self-esteem and mental alertness makes school sports and games necessary for every school age child. Although the benefits of school sports abound, some children do not consider themselves athletic and may prefer not to play organized school sports. For such a group of students, we offer a variety of other physical activities as well, such as Aerobics, Yoga, indoor games like Carrom Board, Table Tennis, Chess etc.
